Hey, so heres the issue, I joined a clan, who said they would be playing, fairly actively on BO2, and it's been about a week, havent seen a sole... so I went to join my friends clan, knowing I'd have to leave my current, which is where I run into the problem, he invited me to his clan, and when I got the prompt to leave my clan, I get a wonderful little error message saying something along the lines of how the Elite servers cannot be contacted, or some BS like that. I;'ve tried on my PS3. my PC (Including clearing cached files and the like), tried from my Droid using the app, using the browser (NEVER DOING THAT AGAIN), and from my iPad... all resulting in me still being stuck in my ghost clan, and unable to join a new one.... anyone else experiencing this issue?

Hi, I bought Black ops 2 from Amazon.com in the US and had it delivered to my house in Australia. My son has since purchased the season pass but ti doesn't show up in his calling cards. I have heard about BLES and BLUS codes and am wondering if the season pass he bought will work on his version of the game. The code on the case is a BLUS but the code on the DLC for the season pass is a BLES code. What can I do to get his season pas to work. He spent his own money to buy it for himself ($65) and is pretty upset that it doesn't work. Any help is appreciated.

I have tried to get this issue resolved via Twitter and Activision tech support it's been two days and haven't gotten a response...

I have prestiged twice now, both times I selected the extra custom class as my prestige award, and both times I was given NOTHING. I also have not received either of the prestige unlock tokens. My combat record shows prestige 2 and my current level so this is not an accidental stat reset situation. I have been searching for an answer to this all day, but it seems like I am the only person who is suffering from this.

I was in a lobby w/ friends the first time I prestiged and a game started right after I chose my award, afterwards I noticed that I didn't have the extra custom class or a prestige token in the CaC menu, instead the prestige award tab was locked and I was SOL. I wasn't happy but I let it go (It's a new game, there are a lot of bugs to be worked out, etc) For my 2nd prestige I made sure to back out of the lobby, so there was no chance I would be thrown into a game and it would glitch again. I still didn't get the prestige award or unlock.

I have a ticket open w/ tech support that is still showing as "new" 2 days after it was submitted, along with a bunch of tweets that have been passed over by Treyarch and David Vonderhaar, they both seem too busy fielding tweets about the end of double XP, and the loss of the Nuketown 24/7 lobby.

I have restarted my Xbox, cleared the HDD cache, and even deleted and reinstalled the update/patch.

Is there anyone who had this happen and fixed it (or not) or even has some kind of an explanation for why this would happen?

Before I start, yes my laptop exceeds the requirements for the game, my graphic card is good enough to run the game, I have downloaded the Nvidia beta drivers for Black Ops already.

I searched for fixes and tips for the past few days, but I just wasnt able to fix these issues for me, hopefully you guys can help me:

1. Campaign loading times - Every mission takes fifteen minutes to load. There is just a black screen and the black ops 2 logo in the bottom right corner and the mission loads for a really long time, then I can play normally. Anyone else experiencing this?

2. Multiplayer - I connect to the main menu, everything runs smoothly when suddenly the screen freezes for three minutes. Then everything works as it should.

3. Multiplayer, The game finds a lobby extremely fast, the loading screen comes up, everything looks great. It starts to load, and it keeps loading for about eight minutes, then the screen goes black, I get kicked and the following message appears: "You have been disconnected from the Call of Duty Black Ops 2 servers. How is this acceptable?

If you need the specs of my laptop I will post them, but i checked everything and I can also run games like skyrim on high settings without lag.

Is there anyone who has found fixes for these issues?

Is anyone else having this error, "Downloadable content has changed: storage device has been removed."  I have been getting this since the last update and I don't think it's my system or anything on my system.  I am able to join one game when I boot up my xbox, then when trying to continue to the next game the map will load and display the Intel, Map Name, and the details of the map but the background will turn to a tinted green. It will then proceed to tell me

"Downloadable content has changed: storage device has been removed" and kick me from the lobby and the game. Sometimes it will even say that my disc is unreadable (This cannot be true due to the fact that I can join games perfectly; I just can't play a series of games without having to restart the game and the process ocurring again)

Im having the following problem on Black Ops 2 on my PS3:

After I pucharsed and downloaded the season pass, the Chaos Moshpit mode (bonus playlist) was gone, and now I cant even play on Nuketown 2025 on custom games anymore (the map also disappeared). Wtf should I do?? (Is any season pass holder having this problem too?)

The ps3 has shut off by itself a total of 10 times so far. 3 times when I was changing settings and editing my player card and 7 times during games of team deathmatch in multiplayer. What I mean by the ps3 shutting off is out of the blue, the ps3 just shuts off with a blinking red light and 3 beeps. Then when I turn it back on it has to do the file restore and everything is fine. I have an 80gb ps3 4usb  and backward compatibility. My psn is illstplaya2live. Black ops 2 code is BLUS 31011. I live in Florida U.S.

I recently just downloaded Black Ops 2 Multiplayer from steam on my Dell Inspiron 518, 32 bit windows vista. The PC has more than enough RAM, graphics cards etc. But whenever I try and open Multiplayer it gives the Black Ops 2 Multiplayer has stopped working windows is searching for a solution, after a while no solution is found. I then have to end the program, I haven't downloaded zombies or campaign and are yet to try them but I've tried many solutions and nothing is working any ideas? I may need step by step instructions, cmon people I want to be able to play before the weekend.

My BO2 stats have been reset and I don't know why.

The link to request the restore of the stats is not working, it tells me to link my account to my Xbox LIVE Gametag, I've already done this.

The phone support is closed on saturday.

I've lost a additional class unlocked with a prestige, 20 unclock points as I am (and still am, and this makes this thing even more RIDICOLOUS) at Prestige 20 Level 20.

All my weapons are locked.

This is ridicolous! How can a company like Activision lose all my stats (this is the second time btw) and have a website with broken login system? I didn't pay 70€ to lose 30h of gameplay, and I'm totally alone! I event dubt that someone is going to answer (or read this message) on this forum!

I got a probation warning while I was playing and my XBOX 360 disconnected from XBOX Live. After this, I went into a game, finished it and then left while in the lobby. Then I tried going into a new game and it gave me a 1 minute probation for quitting early. Please tell me why it is doing this.

I'm getting this message over and over and over again when trying to log onto multiplayer for Black Ops 2:

"The Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 server is not available at this time.  Please try again later or visit www.callofduty.com/blackop2/status for updates"

The website says Defcon 5 and all servers are live.  I'm connected to XBOX Live, everything else is working just fine.  Anybody else having this difficulty as well?

hi ive recently found that some people on the forums are reporting that they played local and now were reset or had stats messed up. This has also happened to me...this means that local has to have some sort of code malfunction.or possible glitch...nevertheless if anyone sees this,this is just a quick post i whipped up to notify anyone of the glitch to warn them or get a moderator to pass this to treyarch and get this patched...thanks for your time and have a great day

-stats messed up(scorestreaks called out:103e+24958...nuff said)

-titles that were unlocked locked and locked titles unlocked

-permanent unlocks are locked

-classes reset

-emblems are messed up

-clan tag reset

-challenges reset

-every thing is NEW

if you see this happening to you you may be a victim of the local glitch please contact support immediatley.

I'm very unhappy with the Theater Mode in Black Ops 2.  I had some amazing multiplayer and zombies games I'll never get to upload now..  Don't get me wrong, this is my favorite CoD game yet, but a few things that are broken with the Theater have really pissed me off!

First, we were told we could upload videos that were up to 2 minutes in length.  Well, videos over 1 minute that I've tried to upload usually freeze during the rendering process or stop and give an error message.  It plays through the video fine, then when the actual rendering starts, it's very slow and gets slower and slower until it freezes and I have to shut off my PS3 manually by holding down the power button.  When they don’t freeze, it says it finishes successfully, but then it never shows up on YouTube (and I know my CoD: Elite and YouTube accounts are linked because I can get short videos to upload properly).

>>UPDATE: I can now usually upload the longer videos, but then they have the audio/video sync issue mentioned next...  Also, since I made sure that my controller doesn't auto turn off, it has never given an error or frozen when I Render videos.

THE MAIN ISSUE (AUDIO/VIDEO OUT OF SYNC):

Another big issue is that when I have been able to get a video to successfully upload to my YouTube channel, the audio is out of sync with the video (it’s a few seconds ahead of the video).  If I try rendering the same video on different occasions, the amount of time that the audio is out of sync by will vary (usually 0.5 to 4 seconds).  It also seems that the audio is more out of sync on videos that are longer or that were made from a lot of separate clips in the editor.  This kept happening on a 43 second video that I tried to upload five or six times (and all other videos since).  It also keeps adding a few seconds to the videos that aren't supposed to be there.. my 43 second video keeps coming out as 47 seconds (and when you play it on YouTube, it skips from 45 to 47 seconds).  But that part is much less important than the audio being out of sync.  I'm three months behind on posting videos because I have to find time to edit them myself to fix the audio.

What I'm even angrier about, though, is that the gameplays that are automatically saved get deleted after 1 week.  That is completely lame!!  I hadn't had time to try to work on this issue, but I had edited together eight videos (filling all of my video slots) that were just under 2 minutes and were freezing when I tried to render them.  A week later, not only were those gameplay recordings all gone, but I couldn’t even load the edited videos that were made from those gameplays!  I hadn't even played the game in that week, so no new gameplays were recorded.  INSTEAD OF ONLY KEEPING GAMEPLAYS FROM WITHIN THE LAST WEEK, KEEP THE LAST 20 GAMEPLAYS OR 2 HOURS OF RECORDINGS, NO MATTER HOW LONG AGO THEY WERE!!!!  You don't have to use those exact numbers, but what I'm saying is: some amount of gameplay recordings should ALWAYS be saved if there are no newer gameplays, NO MATTER HOW OLD.  My PS3 was broken for about a year, and I haven't played Modern Warfare 3 in that long, yet all my edited videos and my last 30 or so gameplay recordings are all still there!!  Take a page out of their book!! 

>>UPDATE: Recently, my edited videos have become loadable and playable again, but when I try to render them, I run into the issues I mentioned above (audio out of sync with video, errors, freezing).

Lastly, a new issue..  Now when I Render videos, it almost always shows up on my YouTube account saying the video "Failed (upload aborted)" even though on my console it finished and gave the message saying it was successful.

So to summarize, the big issues are:

** When rendering does finish “successfully,” the audio is always out of sync with the video and a few seconds are added to the video that are not supposed to be there.

** Rendering sometimes freezes or gives errors, or will finish but the video never shows up on YouTube. [this is now rare]

** Gameplays get deleted after 1 week, even if there were no new ones to replace them.  So: IT SHOULD KEEP SOME AMOUNT OF GAMEPLAYS FOR GOOD IF THERE ARE NO NEW ONES TO REPLACE THEM. ESPECIALLY, EDITED VIDEOS SHOULD ALWAYS BE KEPT AND LOADABLE!!!!

Other, less important issues:

** Final Killcams are not shown in Theater recordings like the used to be.. we want those in our recordings!

** Emblems on guns do not show up in rendered videos (though they do show up when you just watch the video).

** It doesn't seem to record every game that you play.

** It will stop recording if there is a host migration.

Is there anything I can do to avoid any of these issues or does the game need an update to fix them?  Please help!

Black ops 2 Audio issues Randomly in zombies or multiplayer solo or not, the sound cuts of and i hear this static noise but i can still talk to my friends but this problem is very annoying every 1 in 3 games i play this problem occurs i have a slim ps3 which is fully updated

Ok, so I bought the game, and having problems with it.  The disc will only read 1 in about 40, to 45 attempts.  I have cleared my cache, I have deleted all updates, I have deleted the whole black ops II game folders, I have logegd out, then played the game, it worked, then logged in as my main, but then it started not working again.   I have tried multiple discs.  One of my xbox's works fine, but one doesn't (different user).  This really leads me to believe that it is a software or network issue. 

It seems hundreds are having the same problem as me.

As others have stated in other forums online, my PS3 has been freezing in one of two situations while playing Call of Duty: Black Ops 2:

1) When a map is loading (once a lobby starts to launch into a game).  This occurs when the progress line at the bottom is almost completely finished. 

2) While in a lobby of people and the countdown to the game is ticking down.  It doesn't seem to matter what number it is during the countdown, as long as the countdown is going.  I've noticed the countdown does happen more often when there are 4 or 5 seconds left before the map launches.

These are total console freezes, necessitating a hard restart of the system.  This cannot be good for the console.  Every time, the system must rebuild the file system.  Eventually this is going to cause a failure of the system.

I don't know if this catastrophic problem is being addressed.  I would like Activision and Treyarch to inform consumers if they are going to address this particular issue, as it is widespread and appears to have damaged many people's PS3 consoles.

This is the only game that has ever frozen up the whole system like this.  It seems to happen 1 out of every 20 map launches from my experience (once a game is being played), but there is about a 1 in 3 chance when it's the first map you're launching after initially loading the game the first time in a gaming session. This is very strange behavior for a game.  It's happening over, and over, and over.....all the time.

First Gen PS3, 80 GB Version

Hello there everyone.  I'm here to tell "Activision" that I cannot connect to the servers on multiplayer or the servers.  I was able to connect after launch day, the next day; didn't work.  I was very angry about this.  I had tried calling activision and they shut down their phone services, maybe due to massive calling. I opened ports and still did not work. 

I really need this to be fixed.  I purchased a 60$ game that doesn't work for multiplayer.  It's like giving my money away for free. 

If anyone has this issue, please comment what issues are occuring to you. 

I've been missing out with my friends, they always invite me, but what do I do?  Nothing because I can't connect online!!!  I checked my router it's alright.

If you're making us do all these things, you're wrong because you guys created this game so we can play, not to follow someone's instructions.

Yesterday i got black ops 2 on Ps3 , then got home and joined a lobby, then 10 seconds later i was kicked and a message popped  up saying:

The call of duty Black ops 2 server is not available at this time. Please try again later or visithttp://www.callofduty.com/blackops2/status for updates

This message has been coming up for over 24 hours now and really is getting annoying. I've tried signing into other accounts, No luck. Also On a different ps3 i have been getting the same error! I haven't hacked this game or had any jailbroken ps3 before, so i don't think it would be a ban, If it is then that is a load of crap. Hopefully a patch or something will fix this issue that i'm not just having, so is alot of other people.  >:(
