[Fix] Could not load default asset 'fonts/720/consolefont' for asset type 'font'. [Fix] by sahandsolki

I've finally managed to make my own fix [Im so proud, remember my credits] for the problem where you launch your English-Polish version of Black Ops 2 and it says:

 

Could not load default assets 'fonts/720/consolefont' for asset type 'font'.

 

Basicly what is causing the problem is, that when you download the game from steam, the english language pack is not downlaoded with it, and therefore its just looping to find the files but fails.

 

Here is what I did step by step.

 

1. Opened steam, right clicked on Black Ops 2 and changed the language to 'Polish'.

2. When it have downloaded around 1-2% of the polish language, you change it back to english. It will still download the polish language, but the dropdown menu will bug and stuck on 'English'.

3. When the download is completed, open black ops 2 and see if the game works (in polish ofcourse).

4. Download this file and put the 3 txt files in (common/callofdutyblackopsII/) folder and copy the 'english' folder under 'zone' to its respective location in your black ops installation folder (common/callofdutyblackopsII/zone/)

5. Open the game and play!

 

I hope this work, please comment, and share this tutorial on other forums and sites such as the Steam community where people are ripping their hair off, also remember to give credits (even if you make a youtube video!)

Black Ops II has stopped working - Error

I recently just downloaded Black Ops 2 Multiplayer from steam on my Dell Inspiron 518, 32 bit windows vista. The PC has more than enough RAM, graphics cards etc. But whenever I try and open Multiplayer it gives the Black Ops 2 Multiplayer has stopped working windows is searching for a solution, after a while no solution is found. I then have to end the program, I haven't downloaded zombies or campaign and are yet to try them but I've tried many solutions and nothing is working any ideas? I may need step by step instructions, cmon people I want to be able to play before the weekend.

Failed to load mpl_patch.all

Hi there.

I am from Sweden and i purchased my copy online... OFC i get my hands on a polish version!!

I managed to fix this language problem with a FIX file.. It worked fine for like 1.5 month, but then...

I double klick on Black ops multiplayer and the game tryes to start. But it cant start becouse i get this problem:

 

Error during initialization:

ERROR: sound bank failed to load mpl_patch.all. You have a build problem.

 

I have tryed to validate the lokal files inside steam and it workes... But now my BO2 is in polish again!

I reinstall the language fix and the game crashes again!!!!

PS

I can play singelplayer mode..

PC version

Plz Help!

Probation every time I start BO2?

I'm getting a weird error. Every time I try to start playing Black Ops 2 I'm put on probation.

 

I wasn't kicked in my previous session, it seems like there's a flag on my gamertag which has me always put on probation regardless of the previous match results.

 

My gamertag is Dr ScuIIy (Note, they're capital i's, not L's. somebody already had Scully). Can somebody from Treyarch please investigate for me? It's really frustrating.

 

I asked the same question here and somebody directed me to technical support. I don't think it's got anything to do with game caching since it happens after connecting to the Black Ops 2 servers to check stats and stuff. Any ideas?

Xbox 360 Zombies Stats Reset

Hello, I own the Xbox 360 Platform & Call of Duty: Black Ops II. I am wondering if it is possible if you could please reset my Zombies stats? My Kill-To-Down ration is around an 84.0, and I cannot reach above the normal Skull with blue eyes. I would like my stats reset so that I can achieve the Skull with Duel Shotguns. My ratio is so low only because I helped lots of my friends get the turned achievements, and I had no clue that it would give me downs. I also helped a lot of my friends with getting insta-revive in Tranzit. My gamertag is AKushSm0ker420 - Please reset my Zombies stats. Thanks.

Hi there, I've got a problem,

whenever I try and play BOPS2 Mulitiplayer / Zombies, I get this message: "NOTICE, The Call of Duty: Black Ops II server is not available at this time. Please try again later or visit - http://www.callofduty.com/blackops2status for updates.

Now, I've already visted that site and it says everything is basically working fine, up and running. So I decide to try my internet, so I go unplug router & then plug it back in, now I come back try it and it normally works.. I haven't got a clue why this is? But I can't play Mulitiplayer / Zombies until I do this, and lets say I want to play Multiplayer, I unplug, plug back in then it works, go on then I want to play zombies, when I quit the lobby and press O (back) to go to zombies, I get the notice again! It's so frustrating so then I have to do it all over again, before I got house internet, I was using the personal hotspot on my iPhone I don't know if this has anything to do with it?

I just want to know if its something that a few other people are having problems with? or is it my home internet.

Sorry if a thread like this has already been posted, it's just really getting on my nerves now.

Hello,

 

If I run the game, then he runs after a few seconds fixed and I can just do nothing.

Then it automatically goes back to my desktop and I get the following error:

Hi there.

Hello,

For some reason my black ops 2 stats is not showing on my call of duty elite?
Also in my my player hq it just says data failed to load... how can i fix this?

I'm getting this message over and over and over again when trying to log onto multiplayer for Black Ops 2:

 

"The Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 server is not available at this time.  Please try again later or visit www.callofduty.com/blackop2/status for updates"

 

The website says Defcon 5 and all servers are live.  I'm connected to XBOX Live, everything else is working just fine.  Anybody else having this difficulty as well?

I Dont have option reset stats bo2 !

WHY CAN'T I RESET MY STATS? WHY NO FRESH START? DEAR GOD HELP ME RESET

 

 

I have spent countless hours on youtube and the intenret trying to get an answer of 2 basic questions.

 

1. How on earth can I reset my black ops 2 stats?

- I am a prestige master and have been for a while, but I want to completely reset my stats and I can't because there is NO FRESH START OPTION.

 

I literally have no option to reset my stats, and this is bothering me substantially.

 

2. Where did my fresh start option go, and why don't I have one?

- The answer to this is only to kill my curiosity, I could care less how bugged and pathetic this is. I just want my issue resolved, to COMPLETELY RESET MY BLACK OPS 2 STATS. I'M TIRED OF BEING A PRESTIGE MASTER!

 

For the love of god, someone please help me reset my stats.

Hello, I've played like 30+ Games already in "Moshpit Series" with my friends, their is 6 of us and they all have ranks and everything.

Mine's just stuck on "Awaiting Placement" it been 3 days and I've no clue why it's not working. Help me out!

WTF is going on, I didnt purchase this game plus additional maps etc etc to be greeted with this message, anyone else in the uk having this problem with the server
